The Salem Park, Recreation and Community Services Department’s goal is to provide residents of all ages with fun and engaging experiences. One program that is particularly popular in the community is the youth summer basketball league. The program is offered each year to boys and girls between the ages 9 – 15. There is no charge to the children, and its success relies solely on the volunteers who coach the program and the sponsors who provide the equipment.
Attorneys Rob Mazow and Kevin McCullough of Mazow | McCullough, PC, a personal injury law firm located in Derby Square in Salem, are pleased to announce they are sponsors of this year’s program. The firm provided team shirts to the approximately 150 children participating in the program. On July 10, Mayor Kim Driscoll acknowledged Rob and Kevin’s contribution with a huge thank you from the players and their coaches.
The 2017 basketball season runs from July 10 to August 17 and playoffs will take place the week of August 21.
