Is there a statute of limitations on dog bite claims?

The statute of limitations on dog bite claims is three years from the date that the dog bites you. Like any other negligence statute in Massachusetts you have three years from the date that dog bites you or causes you injury to make a claim. As a child, however, you have three years from the date you turn 18 to make that claim.
