Reckless driving and excessive speed are being blamed in the fatal accident of a Lawrence man on June 11, 2012. Initial investigations by the New Hampshire State Police Technical Accident Reconstruction Unit reveal that the white Ford 150 pickup truck was observed by other drivers to be changing lanes quickly and speeding, before ultimately crashing into another vehicle, causing the other driver to lose control.
A state trooper at the scene said that the man was ejected upon impact and pronounced dead at the scene after his truck hit a guardrail and rolled over several times before coming to a stop. Two highway I-93 lanes were closed while multiple state and city departments assisted at the scene. While the accident is still under investigation, witnesses to the crash are encouraged to contact New Hampshire State Police.
