Michael C. Forrest
Attorney Mike Forrest is dedicated to defending the rights of consumers. His practice focuses on Consumer Protection, False Advertising, Unfair Insurance Practices, Data Breach and Medical Privacy Litigation, Employment and Wage Law, Unfair Housing, Unfair Collections, and Product Liability.
Before joining Mazow | McCullough, Mike was the managing partner at the class action firm Forrest | LaMothe, where he prosecuted complex claims involving consumer protection violations, data breaches, employment disputes, and housing matters. As a class action attorney, he has successfully represented individuals, classes of consumers, and groups of businesses in cases involving privacy violations, unfair insurance conduct, and wage-and-hour violations.
Earlier in his career, Mike served as a litigation attorney representing medical providers in hundreds of actions against insurance companies for unpaid claims and unfair insurance practices.
Mike earned his Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from the University of Maine School of Law, where he served as co-chair of the Moot Court Team, Appellate Advocacy Coach, and received both the Moot Court Competition Prize Brief Award and the Pro Bono Services Recognition Award. He also served as a Rule 90 Prosecutor for the Cumberland County District Attorney’s Office and volunteered with the Volunteer Lawyers Project in Portland, Maine.
He earned dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Philosophy and Religious Studies from Rutgers University.
