Kevin is a founding partner of the law firm of Mazow | McCullough, PC. Kevin’s years of experience working for insurance companies, as an adjuster and an attorney, is what sets him apart from other personal injury attorneys.
Before forming Mazow | McCullough, PC, Kevin worked for a national automobile insurance carrier and was responsible for investigating, evaluating, and negotiating serious injury and wrongful death claims on behalf of the insurance company. Kevin then put himself through law school working as a landscaper and correctional officer. After graduating from New England School of Law, he was hired to defend insurance companies in courts throughout the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
Very few personal injury attorneys representing injured people and their family members have worked inside the insurance company and have defended insurance companies in lawsuits. In addition to the intricate knowledge of the insurance industry, Kevin also worked as a prosecutor in the Essex County District Attorney’s Office. Working as a prosecutor in Essex County, Kevin gained invaluable knowledge and experience conducting numerous jury trials.
Because of Kevin’s background and unique work experience, he is considered an expert in insurance bad faith and insurance claims handling practices. Kevin has testified as an expert witness in numerous cases and courts throughout the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Because of this vast insurance experience, other attorneys look to Kevin for advice, guidance and consultation on their cases when dealing with the insurance company and seeking a fair and reasonable settlement offer for a client. Kevin’s current practice focuses on serious personal injury and wrongful death cases as well as consumer class action litigation.
Kevin is admitted to the Massachusetts Bar and Federal Bar, First Circuit, as well as the Bar of New Hampshire. He is on the Executive Board of the Essex County Bar Association, is a member of the American Bar Association, and the Massachusetts Academy of Trial Attorneys.
