Client’s car struck head on

The client was driving her car around a bend on a bright and sunny afternoon. As she turned the corner, a car, coming in the opposite direction, was struck in the rear by a truck. The force of that impact pushed the vehicle into the client’s travel lane and struck her car head on. The vehicles were significantly damaged and the front of the client’s vehicle intruded into the passenger compartment. The client was assisted in getting out of her vehicle but was unable to stand due to a broken ankle. The case was put into suit. Through discovery and visiting the accident scene, Robert Mazow was able to establish that the truck was prohibited from being in the area where the accident occurred. Additionally, the truck driver was unfamiliar with the area. The case settled after two full days at mediation with different mediators.
