Taunton Woman Convicted of Manslaughter for 2009 DUI Accident

A Taunton woman was sentenced to eight years in prison after causing a deadly accident back in July of 2009.  The woman was convicted of manslaughter while driving intoxicated and leaving the scene of a deadly accident.

The woman was said to be driving at about 113 mph when she rear-ended a vehicle causing the death of a passenger as a result.  The woman then left the scene but was picked up about a mile away by authorities.
